The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries

The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) recently honored top-performing students from the Federal Capital Territory School for the Blind in Abuja. Through its outreach arm, We Care Ministry, MFM presented special gifts to recognize the students’ academic excellence and provide support to those facing unique challenges.

Gift Recipients and Awards

  • Best Graduating Student, Godwin Lazarus: Received a brand-new laptop
  • Second-Best Student, Miss Aishat Isah: Received ₦100,000
  • Third-Best Student, Master Alfred Yahaya: Received ₦50,000
  • All Graduating Students: Digital walking aids equipped with sensors to improve mobility and independence.

The Initiative’s Purpose

This initiative reflects MFM’s commitment to caring for those in need, as emphasized in the biblical teaching in James 1:27. MFM’s General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has consistently promoted education through scholarships and support programs, enabling young people to achieve their dreams and contribute positively to society.

MFM’s We Care Ministry

The We Care Ministry, led by Joy Uno, aims to demonstrate love in action through various projects, including :

  • Food Evangelism: Delivering meals to inmates in correctional facilities and police stations
  • Support Programs: Providing assistance to orphans, abandoned persons, people with disabilities, and former inmates.

Impact and Appreciation

The Head Teacher of the FCT School for the Blind, Mrs. Hafsat Umar Isah, expressed gratitude to MFM for its continuous support and kindness toward the school and its students. Such gestures boost the students’ confidence and ability to succeed, demonstrating that compassion, education, and empowerment can transform lives and inspire hope.
